Camelina oil is a little-known vegetable oil, but with a really interesting content of Omega-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. It is an oil very rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E in natural form, very effective as an antioxidant so much so that this oil, unlike that of flax, does not need to be kept in the refrigerator to keep its characteristics intact.
In fact, camelina oil is one of the richest vegetable sources of vitamin E which increases the stability of fatty acids by protecting them from oxidation (rancidity).
Specifically, our camelina oil contains 37% alpha-Linolenic acid (Omega-3), 18% Linoleic acid (Omega-6) and 15% Oleic acid (Omega-9): a variability of fatty acids which enhances its characteristics and rightfully places it among the most interesting vegetable oils in the food sector.
